Small restaurant in Den Haag, were good food you can find....
difficult now a days in holland to found a place were you can just eat good food , well prepared..... had been in a lot of restaurants with michelin star, around the world, and you know what to expect.... but here you get what you order, no experiments, no excess of gelatins, espumas, ..... two options one menu du marche (more fish , and maybe more simple) and gourmand ..... better products.combination of duck, chicken and ganze liver... maybe not the taste of everybody but more french than deze, maybe the brioche jejejeje, also the pork cooked in low temperature was melting in the mouth, the entrecôte was also good miss a piece of bread to clean the jus of the plate. But the most important respect for product.
feel like in france, and thanks for that cause when we decide to eat there that was what we expect.
the cheese plate also really good .... and the wines also pretty good.
we took a st emilion 2006, and Château Haut-Brion 1983 ..... thanks also for that small but nice wine list...... few wines but good ones and perfect for the type of kitchen this place have.
finish with macaroons also good.
the service, was correct, and on time, (note that we don't like fast food so we were really pleasant that the maitre let us enjoy our food and wines)
in resume we come back soon ....
