De beste (zelfgemaakte!) taartjes, chocolaatjes en quiches van de stad. Alles hier kan worden samengevat met één woord: liefde. Dat geldt voor het eten, net als voor het mooie, zorgvuldig samengestelde interieur en de bediening. Moeder Elena en dochter Anastasia hebben een visie en dat proef, zie en voel je.
Een zaak die in wereldsteden als Berlijn of New York ook niet zou misstaan.
Alleen jammer dat je er niet elke dag van de week naar toe kunt....

It had been a very tiring and emotional week and after a Sat morning which had gone from "this is the end of the world" to "Wow, this is great" we were both in need of some comfort. Paul McCartney may well turn to Mother Mary in such situations, but the basic instinct in us all is to go home to mother, who will sort everything out. Bit difficult though when 1 is in Scotland and the other in Wagga Wagga, so we did the next best thing: we came home to Elana. As usual it was incredibly busy and is glaringly obvious that they need some more room - success can bring its own problems. 4 months in Leiden meant we could notice the slight changes. The lemonade is from a different (and better ) supplier and the bread is of a much higher quality - "the finishing touch" as Elana said. I know the tv industry concentrates itself in trendy world all to itself, but given that we have had the husband and wife team, the 2 fat ladies and the hairy bikers, surely the time is ripe for the simple, homely and tasty cooking of the Elana and Anastasia double act....Anyone out there in tv land reading this ?

Een gezellige lunchgelegenheid; leuk ingericht met héérlijke hapjes! Ik kom hier zeker terug.

Super lekkere taartjes en lunchgerechten, heel erg leuke sfeer en heel vriendelijke bediening. Leuk ingericht. Jammer dat hij zo vaak dicht is!

Afgelopen zaterdag hebben wij hier met 7 dames ontzettend genoten van het the arrangement. Op navraag (van tevoren) was ook een veganistische versie helemaal geen probleem en deze smaakte geweldig! Veel dank hiervoor! Het enige wat wij jammer vonden was dat de zaak al om half 6 dicht gaat.
