A little gem in Buitenveldert. We had a really nice dinner and are looking forward to going back again. I don\'t see why having a Chinese waitress working in a Korean restaurant is a problem. Shall we ban Dutch waiters and waitresses working in Italian restaurants? Do Dutch waiters and waitresses in Italian restaurants necessary speak Italian? That\'s a laugh. That girl in Hwa Won -- whatever her nationality might be -- is inexperienced, but that didn\'t bother me, because I saw that the Korean owner was supervising her all the time, and she was learning. I spoke to her in English, my partner to her in Dutch, and there was no communication problem. Perhaps some people are simply too eager to bash foreigners?

Food was quite good, but service was terrible. The waitress only cared about the Japanese customers and took our orders absent-mindedly. As a result, she brought me the wrong dish. Instead of apologising, she said she NEVER made mistakes and insisted that I was wrong. Will never go back again.

We were hoping this place has improved a bit. We were too naive. Feeling lazy, we decided to get a beer after watching a film upstairs. Sat for at least 20 minutes and no one came to our table. All waiters/waitresses were just standing somewhere, pretending not seeing us. We left, and vowed never to go back again. This place is such a disgrace.
